Application for Creative Writing Classes, Fall 2008

RETURN APPLICATIONS TO THE CREATIVE WRITING PROGRAM OFFICE, N209 CALLAWAY CENTER.

RISING SENIORS MUST RETURN THEIR APPLICATIONS BY 5 P.M., FRIDAY, MARCH 21. A LIST OF ACCEPTED SENIORS WILL BE POSTED BOTH ONLINE AND AT THE CREATIVE WRITING PROGRAM OFFICE, N209 CALLAWAY, TUESDAY MORNING, MARCH 25, IN TIME FOR SENIOR ADVISING AND PRE-REGISTRATION.

ALL OTHER STUDENTS MUST RETURN THEIR APPLICATIONS BY 5 P.M., FRIDAY, MARCH 28. A LIST OF ACCEPTED STUDENTS WILL BE POSTED BOTH ONLINE AND AT THE CREATIVE WRITING PROGRAM OFFICE, N209 CALLAWAY,TUESDAY MORNING, APRIL 1.

YOU CANNOT REGISTER WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE CREATIVE WRITING PROGRAM. ACCEPTED STUDENTS MUST OBTAIN AN OPUS PERMISSION NUMBER IN ORDER TO REGISTER. (Permission numbers may be obtained at the Creative Writing Program office or by e-mailing pvitari@emory.edu.)

Non-majors may enroll in only one creative writing course per semester. Majors who wish to take a second workshop must obtain permission from Lynna Williams, the program director, and must demonstrate that they intend to take both workshops and have a need to do so. If you want two workshops, you must fill out a separate application for each.

PLEASE INFORM US IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO TAKE A CREATIVE WRITING COURSE AFTER MAKING APPLICATION OR AFTER ACCEPTANCE. OTHERWISE YOU WILL PREVENT ANOTHER STUDENT FROM FILLING THE AVAILABLE SPACE.
